ICAIR 2025 - Proceedings of the International Conference on AI Research ICAIR 2025

These proceedings represent the work of contributors to the 5th International Conference on AI Research (ICAIR) hosted by ACPI and the University of Genoa, Italy on 11-12 December 2025. The Conference Chair is Renata Paola Dameri from University of Genoa

ICAIR is now a well-established event on the academic research calendar and now in its 5^th year the key aim remains the opportunity for participants to share ideas and meet the people who hold them. The scope of papers will ensure an interesting two days. The subjects covered illustrate the wide range of topics that fall into this important and ever-growing area of research.

The opening keynote presentation is given by Professor Valentina Di Gregorio, from the University of Genoa, Italy, who will talk about European Regulation of AI systems: Data circulation, Liability and Protection of Fundamental Rights.  The second keynote on day one of the conference will be from  Professor Lorenzo Rosasco, from the University of Genoa, Italy, who will discuss Can we make Artificial Intelligence Sustainable? The second day of the conference will have a final keynote presentation from Professor Daniela Mancini, from the University of Teramo, Italy who will talk about Artificial Intelligence for Accounting and Management Control.
