These proceedings represent the work of contributors to the 11th European Conference on Information Systems Management (ECISM 2017), hosted this year by the University of Genoa, Italy on the 14-15 September 2017. The Conference Chair is Dr Renata Paola Dameri and the Programme Chair is Dr Riccardo Spinelli.

ECISM continues to develop and evolve. Now in its 11th year the key aim remains an opportunity for participants to share ideas in the field of IS Management and to meet the people who hold them. The scope of papers will ensure an interesting two days. The subjects covered illustrate the wide range of topics that fall into this important and complex area of research.

The conference this year will be opened with a keynote presentation by Prof. Camille Rosenthal-Sabroux who will address the topic The Quality of University Teaching of Information Systems worldwide. The second day of the conference will be opened by Andrea Favati who will be talking about Complexity of IS Management in a Global Multi-Business Company.

With an initial submission of 82 abstracts, after the double blind, peer review process there are 36 Academic research papers, 3 PhD research papers and 2 Non-academic papers published in these Conference Proceedings. These papers represent research from Ethiopia, Finland, France, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Malaysia, Namibia, Poland, Romania, Russia, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland, UK, USA.
